I believe history is filled with remarkable stories that deserve to be told - not as dry facts to memorize, but as journeys that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us.
Whether I'm writing historical fiction for young adults or explaining the U.S. Constitution for everyday readers, my goal is always the same: make history engaging, accessable, and meaningful.

WHY I WRITE
Stories have the power to transport us - to help us empathize, to challenge us, and to inspire us.
I write to breathe life into the past, to help readers walk alongside those who lived it, struggled through it, and shaped it.
I also write because I believe an informed citizenry is essential to a strong democracy. Understanding our Constitution and our history equips us to protect the freedoms we often take for granted.
Every book I write is an invitation - to explore, to question, and to think more deeply about our past and our future.
WHY HISTORY MATTERS TODAY
The past is not just something that happened - it's the foundation of the present and the guide for the future.
When we understand where we came from, we make better decisions today. History teaches us about courage, sacrifice, justice, and the cost of freedom. It reminds us that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
My mission is to connect readers to these timeless lessons in ways that are engaging, relevant, and easy to remember.
A FEW PERSONAL NOTES
Coffee fuels most first drafts.
I never begin writing until the research is finished.
I Love visiting historical sites whenever I can.
Every book starts with one question: What was it really like to live through this?
MY MISSION
"I don't write to tell people what happened. I write to help them experience it."
"The past is filled with stories worth remembering."
